4 Days Safari to Ngorongoro, Lake Manyara & Tarangire

DAY 1:Transfer to Tarangire National Park

Have breakfast and then start your transfer to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive within the park, the park has got diverse landscape with over 9 vegetation zones. And the landscape is mostly covered by Ancient Baobab trees.  The main wildlife species found here include; elephants, leopards, lions, buffaloes, zebras, antelopes, giraffes as well as birds. Have lunch inside the park while viewing animals drinking water in the river. After you will proceed with game viewing and return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at ChemChem lodge/Kuro Tarangire Lodge/Kirurumu Tarangire Lodge.

DAY 2:Transfer to Lake Manyara National Park

Have breakfast at the lodge in the morning and then drive across the great rift valley towards Lake Manyara National Park for a full-day game drive. The park is about 205sq miles and its most noted for its unique beauty with the acacia forest of the giant fig tree and Mahogany trees. These trees are home to many baboons and blue monkeys. The other animal species include; hippos, giraffes, buffaloes, elephants, hippos, and 400 bird species. Lake Manyara is famous for its tree climbing lions. You will also find many flamingos and other birds as well. Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara tree hotel/Kirurumu tented lodge/ Olmasera tented camp.

DAY 3:Transfer to Ngorongoro Crater.

Have breakfast, the guide will drive you to the main natural wonder the Ngorongoro crater. The crater harbors many animal species including; the rare Rhino, elephants, as well as birds. The crater contains a river, swamps, a soda lake on top which is also filled with flamingos, and a forest with open plains. You will then come down to the crater floor to see more animals like hippos and birds. You will have a picnic lunch at the hippo lake and in the afternoon, drive up to the steep road and get out of the crater. Overnight at Neptune Ngorongoro crater/ Ngorongoro wildlife Lodge/Plantation Lodge.

DAY 4:Enjoy Hunting & a Cultural Tour at Oldonyo Sambu Maasai village

Early in the morning, hunt with the famous bushmen that live near Lake Eyasi and visit OldonyoSambuMasai village. This is also a Masai village which is 40 km from Arusha town and it’s also considered to be the main highlight of this safari. You will also be guided by the Masai chef who will take you around and show you their lifestyles of cooking, taking care of cattle, dancing, and many more. After transfer to Arusha town for either a flight home or an overnight.
