4 Days Pilgrimage to our Lady of Kibeho
Join Intare Safaris on a 4-day pilgrimage to Our Lady of Kibeho, a spiritual site in Rwanda, where the Virgin Mary is said to have appeared to several young girls in the early 1980s. Detailed 4 Days Pilgrimage to our Lady of Kibeho
DAY 1: Arrival in Kigali
Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you’ll be welcomed by a representative of Intare Safaris and driven to your hotel in Kibeho. You’ll have the rest of the day to relax and prepare for the pilgrimage
DAY 2: Visit Our Lady of Kibeho Shrine
After breakfast, you’ll visit the Our Lady of Kibeho Shrine, where the apparitions of the Virgin Mary were reported to have taken place. You’ll have an opportunity to participate in the daily Mass and visit the other shrines and monuments dedicated to the apparitions. You’ll also meet with local pilgrims and listen to their stories and experiences.
DAY 3 :Explore the Surrounding Area
You’ll spend the day exploring the surrounding area, visiting local churches and villages, and learning about the history and culture of Rwanda. You’ll also have an opportunity to participate in traditional Rwandan activities and enjoy the scenic beauty of the region.
DAY 4:Departure
After breakfast, you’ll drive back to Kigali and visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial, a moving tribute to the victims of the 1994 genocide. You’ll also have an opportunity to visit local markets and shops to purchase souvenirs before being driven to the airport for your departure flight.
