Day 1: Cross-Border Transfer to Bukavu for Lowland Gorillas National Park
Embark on a remarkable 4-day Lowland Gorillas National Park and Akagera National Park Safari, starting with a seamless cross-border transfer to Bukavu. Our experienced guide/driver will pick you up from Kigali and assist you in smoothly navigating the Congo border, ensuring a hassle-free journey. Arrive in Bukavu, the gateway to Kahuzi Biega, and check into your preferred accommodation for a delightful evening at Panorama Hotel (mid-range) or Hotel Elizabeth (budget).
Please note that your Rwanda Visa will require renewal at the border, as it becomes invalid upon entering Congo. The process can be completed while on the tour, with the visa ready for you after the safari.
Day 2: Lowland Gorilla Trekking in Kahuzi-Biega National Park and Return to Rwanda
Start your second day with a hearty breakfast before heading to Kahuzi-Biega National Park for an awe-inspiring lowland gorilla trekking experience. Our knowledgeable guide will lead you through lush valleys and dense jungles, encountering a variety of wildlife along the way. Capture unforgettable moments as you observe the gorillas in their natural habitat, with ample time for photography and videos. Spend up to four hours in the presence of these majestic creatures, witnessing their intriguing behaviors.

Day 3: Transfer to Akagera National Park for Wildlife Adventure
