Detailed 2 Days Rusizi National Park Tour
DAY 1: Arrival at Bujumbura Airport; and transfer to Mwaro province
After your early arrival in Bujumbura, you will continue to Agasumoka Mwaro waterfalls, a place where the Burundi people used to worship their traditional god Kiranga before Christianity religion. Have lunch at the site and then drive back in the afternoon to Bujumbura for your overnight. Overnight at Du Lac Hotel.
DAY 2: Transfer to Rusizi National Park
You will have breakfast and then transfer to Visit Rusizi National Park for a boat cruise on the Rusizi River. Then later explore closer the hippos, birds, and the joint between Rusizi River and Lake Tanganyika. You will then continue with your trip to the south driving along the shores of Lake Tanganyika. Later take a visit to the Livingstone memorial. Then drive to Rumonge to visit the local villages of fishermen of Rumonge port, relax at the beach, swim, or beach volley at Blue bay. Drive back to Bujumbura for dinner and overnight
DAY 3: Departure
Finally, have a drop-off at the airport for departure that will make the end of your safari.
