Day 1: Arrival at Kigali International Airport in Rwanda

Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport in the capital city of Kigali, you will be warmly welcomed by our experienced team from Intaresafaris. They will provide a brief introduction to Rwanda, known as the “Land of a Thousand Hills.” Afterward, you will be transferred to your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight accommodation.

Day 2: Transfer to Nyungwe National Park 

After breakfast, embark on a scenic journey to Nyungwe Forest National Park, a haven of biodiversity. Along the way, we will make a stop at the National Institute of Rwandan Museums in Butare. This renowned museum houses a remarkable collection of ethnographic and archaeological artifacts, offering insights into the rich history and heritage of the region. After exploring the museum, continue the drive to Nyungwe Forest National Park for relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 3: Morning Chimpanzee Trekking and Afternoon Nyungwe Canopy Walk

Start your day with an early breakfast before setting off on an exhilarating chimpanzee trekking adventure in the ancient forests of Nyungwe.
